This section of the urban poor travels on foot for kilometers, through narrow lanes, avoiding the authorities, while hoping to sell all they have on board.
It gets tougher for fruit vendors, with the uncertainty of fresh produce for the next day, and the need to sell product before it rots. There is also the added pressure of haggling and bargaining customers.
Seen here is a strawberry sales man, he asked me to come back on Monday when his cart would be brimming with oranges.
